Principles for configuring transducers

l High frequency (such as 420kHz) is more suitable for small "targets" and close range detection

l Low frequencies (such as 38kHz&70kHz) are more suitable for large "targets", marine environments, and long-distance detection.

l The split beam transducer is used for counting and tracking individual targets, and determining accurate target acoustic intensity for measuring target size

l Both single beam and split beam transducers are suitable for water depth measurement, sediment classification, as well as clustering of fish and plankton, and collection of submerged plant data
